Terra Mítica, Benidorm
Terra Mítica Theme Park Terra Mítica Theme Park, Benidorm is fun for all the family. It has various roller coasters and rides for all ages and constitutions! Plenty of cafés and restaurants offer refreshment throughout the day. It takes between an hour and a half and two hours to drive (each way), but the park is huge and certainly well worth the trip.

Terra Mítica Theme ParkThere are numerous roller coaster rides, including a stomach-churning yellow and purple one which turns through 360º.  Best to keep your eyes closed, but it only lasts 20 LONG seconds.  There are other suitably terrifying rides and various other more sedate things to do, such as boats rides through the rapids and bumper cars. You can buy a season pass (which comes at a sizeable discount), a day pass, a two day pass, or even just an afternoon pass, so it needn´t break the bank. 

The park is divided into 4 themed sections, Ancient Egypt, Greece, Roman and Iberia.  There are some really great rides for younger children, and they have an upper height restriction so that the little ones can enjoy the bumper cars (for example) without being bumped by adults. 

There are bumper cars for ´adults´ too, but these are separate! 

There are plenty of restaurants, water machines, and coffee shops so that you will be able to get refreshment all day long.  Also, the two water rides will soak you through to the skin which is very refreshing in summertime.
