Roda Golf & Beach Resort is just a few minutes by car from the seaside town of Los Alcázares, right on the shore of the Mar Menor in the Costa Cálida. This area has almost 4 kilometres of lovely sandy beaches, with a promenade running its entire length, great for passing an afternoon meandering along and perhaps stopping for a drink and a tapa at one of the bars dotted along the way, or for an evening stroll after a lovely meal in one of the many bars and restaurants around. Only a couple of minutes´ walk away is Roda Village, which has a few bars and restaurants, as well as a supermarket. In Los Alcázares you will find a much wider choice of bars and restaurants. Visit the pedestrianized area, known by most as “The 525 Square”, full of additional bars and restaurants catering for tourists and providing an excellent choice of international cuisine. A little further along and you will find yourself in the town centre of Los Alcázares, which has a much more Spanish feel and where there are some fabulous bars and restaurants. In this part of town and right on the beach you will find La Encarnácion, a beautiful restaurant that was once a turn-of-the-century spa resort and still retains that feel. Here they provide entertainment on certain nights of the week, where you can watch a performance of traditional Flamenco dancing or listen to jazz music, or just sit with a drink and watch the world go by.
