Chris Whent is the Director of Murcia Villas La Manga, where he specialises in property sales and has built a strong reputation for honesty, professionalism, and outstanding results. Since making Murcia his permanent home in 2007 with his wife Jane, Chris has been a driving force in the local real estate market, helping countless clients find their dream homes in Spain.

Chris and Jane originally launched Murcia Villas La Torre before returning to their own home in La Manga to establish and grow the La Manga / Los Belones office. Under his leadership, the office has gone from strength to strength, achieving a record number of property sales in recent years—even during challenging market conditions.

Before moving to Spain, Chris enjoyed a 28-year career with NatWest Bank, progressing from office junior in Southampton to senior roles in Jersey, Guernsey, Portsmouth, and Guildford. His experience included foreign exchange trading, share dealing, and financial advising, culminating in his role as a fully qualified Financial Adviser. This financial background has given Chris an exceptional understanding of the property market, making him a trusted advisor for both buyers and sellers.

Chris first discovered La Manga in 2002, when he and Jane bought their holiday home in Playa Paraiso. Their love for the region inspired their permanent move, and today Chris continues to combine his passion for the area with his dedication to helping clients successfully buy and sell properties in Murcia.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys keeping fit at the gym, cycling the beautiful Murcian countryside, and pursuing his passion for motorbikes. A proud supporter of Southampton FC, he balances his professional drive with a love of sport and community.
