Murcia Villas SL recently opened a new office in the lovely little Murcia village of Sucina and, to mark the occasion, handed over a sponsorship cheque to the local golf society. During their new office opening event - a lively evening enjoyed by over 60 people at Murcia Villas' Sucina, on Calle Rosario - Murcia Villas Sucina director, John King presented a cheque for €2100 to The Sucina Golf Society on behalf of himself and a group of small businesses serving Sucina and the surrounding area. Sponsors included St James’s Place Wealth Management, Expats-online, The Will2Live, Ibex Insurance and Golden Leaves Funeral Plans. Upon receiving the sponsorship cheque, the society captain, Andy Harvey, said "I would like to express our sincere thanks to our new sponsors for their most generous support. The society tries hard to provide the local community with affordable golf and social events. Any sponsorship support that we receive from local businesses is greatly appreciated. This enables the society to continue growing, by offering a wide range of discounted activities to appeal to as many people as possible. We currently have a membership of nearly 80 people - quite good for a small village like Sucina - and we are always keen to welcome new members to join us!"

It's a beautiful village, and we have seen interest in this area growing steadily over the past few months. So, it made sense to open an office here to complement the Balsicas office. Sports and charity sponsorship is something Murcia Villas is keen to engage with throughout the region. We hope the Sucina Golf Society continues to build on its reputation as one of the best societies in the area - sometimes something as simple as having a good local golf society can be the difference between a property selling or not!"
